| Lady in the Water (2006) [Story]: Possibly mauled to death by a scrunt in the courtyard. (It's ambiguous whether she's actually killed or just badly wounded; even the other characters appear uncertain.) She is later brought back to life (or healed) by Paul Giamatti after he brings her inside with the other tenants gathered around her. (As I said, I'm not sure whether this counts as a death scene, but I'm listing it just in case...)
