We only see the figure standing over her as she's screaming on the floor in the background; the scene cuts away as he brings the knife down. (The entire movie turns out to be a shared dream resulting from Peter Carey's psychology experiment; however, the final scene indicates that Peter plans to carry out all the murders.)
