Macbeth (The Tragedy of Macbeth) (1971) [Lady Macbeth]: Commits suicide (off-screen) by throwing herself from a window. Her body is shown afterwards, lying face-down in the courtyard, when Jon Finch arrives at the scene.
Stronger Than the Sun (1977) [Kate]: Reportedly commits suicide by deliberately exposing herself to radioactive material, in order to draw attention to its dangers. (I haven't seen this movie myself.) (Thanks to Garrett)
