| Star Trek: The Man Trap (1966) [Nancy Crater]: Playing a shape-changing alien in human form, she is shot in the back with a phaser by DeForest Kelly after she assumes her true appearance (played by Sharon Gimpel) to attack William Shatner. She then resumes her human disguise, and is shot once more in the chest by DeForest as she approaches him; she finally reverts to her alien form again after she dies. (The original "Nancy Crater" was killed off-screen when the alien drained the salt from her body, a year or two before the episode begins.) |
