|Jules & Jim (1962) [Catherine]: Commits suicide by deliberately driving her car into a lake while riding with either Oskar Werner or Henri Serre. (It's been so long since I've seen this movie, I've forgotten which one of them was in the car with her.)
Mata-Hari (1964) [Mata Hari]: Possibly executed by a firing squad. (I haven't seen this movie, so I don't know whether it depicts the execution or whether it ends before her death.)
Going Places (Les Valseuses; Getting It Up; Making It) (1974) [Jeanne Pirolle]: Commits suicide (off-camera) by shooting herself in the crotch in a hotel room. We hear the gunshot from the other room; her body is shown afterwards when Gerard Depardieu and Patrick Dewaere rush in and discover her.
Until the End of the World (Bis ans Ende der Welt) (1991) [Edith Farber]: Dies of an unspecified illness, with Max von Sydow by her bedside.
