| Tales of Terror (Edgar Allan Poe's Tales of Terror) (1962) [Morella Locke]: Dies of exhaustion some time after childbirth (off-screen), several years before the story begins. Her semi-preserved body is shown lying in her bedroom, gradually assuming a more lifelike appeareance, until she comes back to life by "changing places" with her daughter (Maggie Pierce). She dies once again when Vincent Price drops a lantern and burns the house down, killing all three of them. |
