Intolerance: Love's Struggle Throughout the Ages (1916) [Attarea, the Princess Beloved]: Commits suicide (along with Alfred Paget) by stabbing herself in the chest in the throne room, rather than be captured by the invading forces. Their bodies are shown afterwards when Tully Marshall discovers them.

The Fall of Babylon (1919) [Attarea, the Princess Beloved]: See Intolerance. (This film was made by re-editing the Bablyonian storyline into a separate film.)

Queen Kelly (1929) [Queen Regina V]: Killed (off-screen) by an assassin. (This occurred in director Erich von Stroheim's original planned storyline; he was fired before that portion of the story could be filmed, and the reconstructed edition informs us of her death in the on-screen text. In the released ending completed by Gregg Toland, Seena survives the movie.)

Officer Thirteen (1932) [Trixi Du Bray]: Shot to death when her own gun goes off during a struggle with Robert Ellis in her casino.
